Mr. Bando worked with 33 municipalities to develop and implement appropriate tools to manage urban growth along the heavily industrialized banks of the Yamuna River. Industrial development and employment generation programs were evaluated in addition to environmental management programs involving effective public-private partnerships. Relevant land use and zoning issues were addressed to ensure sustainable development. Provided training to municipal agencies.
